The tool guides the learning journeys of organisations throughout project implementation and enables them to reflect on their assumptions, learn what works and use these learnings for strategic decision-making to build organisational memory.

Propel aims to enhance knowledge-sharing, efficiency, and effectiveness through learning across development cooperation, designed for organisation, including NGOs, UN agencies, and various other entities. Our reach extends globally, catering to a wide array of professionals such as project officers, MEAL advisors, field officers, and project managers, with a potential to serve NGOs and non-profits worldwide.

Role Overview

As our Communication and Knowledge Broker Intern, you will champion Propel's branding, market outreach, and client communications. This pivotal role contributes significantly to establishing Propel as a leader in learning solutions for international development. Additionally, you will manage and support the Propel Community of Practice. You will divide your time between communications and community management approximately 75% and 25% respectively.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the Development and Implementation of Campaigns: You will work closely with our communication advisor and lead to support to create and execute innovative marketing and communications campaigns targeting potential clients, focusing on referrals and retention. As part of that, you will contribute to content creation and content design.
  2. Event Organisation: Plan and manage events, webinars, and conferences to highlight Propel's capabilities.
  3. Collaborate with Technical Team: Work alongside the technical team to promote product updates and advancements.
  4. Enhance Internal and External Communications: Improve communication channels within Propel and with external stakeholders.
  5. Community of Practice Management: Oversee the Propel Community of Practice, focusing on enhancing user engagement and fostering collaborative learning as well as content creation and curation for the community
